Wedding day with us. Here’s what to expect.
Your Day, Stress-Free
You've planned every detail, and now it's time to enjoy it. Here's what you can expect from the R5 Vibe team on your wedding day:
Before the Day
In the weeks leading up to your wedding, we'll:
- Finalize your photography and videography timeline
- Confirm arrival times, key locations, and any specific shots you want
- Coordinate with your wedding planner, DJ, and other vendors as needed
- Review your shot list and discuss any last-minute requests
Day-Of Arrival
Our team typically arrives 15–30 minutes before coverage begins to set up equipment and scout the venue lighting. For full-day packages, we usually start with getting-ready coverage, which means arriving while you and your wedding party are being styled and prepped.
During Your Event
- Getting ready — Candid and detail shots as you prepare for the day.
- Ceremony — Full documentation of your ceremony from multiple angles.
- Portraits — We'll carve out time (usually 30–60 minutes) for couple portraits, wedding party photos, and family formals.
- Reception — Toasts, first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, and all the party moments.
- Grand exit — Send-offs, sparklers, or whatever you have planned to close out the night.
Our Approach
We blend documentary-style coverage with cinematic direction. Most of the day we're capturing moments as they happen naturally, but we'll also guide you through portraits and key moments to ensure everything looks incredible.
Tips for a Smooth Day
- Build in buffer time for portraits — things always run a little behind on wedding days
- Designate a point person (planner, coordinator, or trusted friend) for the team to coordinate with
- Let your bridal party know the portrait schedule in advance
